Raf Simons

Furniture designer Raf Simons launches his eponymous brand in 1995, as a self-trained menswear designer, and after 10 years of work he becomes at first Creative Director of Jil Sander, then of Christian Dior, and finally Chief Creative Officer of Calvin Klein. Fueled by his love for rebellious youth subcultures, Simons fuses traditional menswear with a radically different image of masculinity, celebrating pride in individuality.
